What are the benefits of having you slugs lubricated? Well for starters, lubrication help to reduce friction within the barrel leading to faster speeds and reduced leading. The nano silicone coating that we apply at Pro Slugs also helps to stop oxidation from forming on the lead slugs when exposed to air and moisture. Ever notice how your slugs turn a dingy gray after sitting in your range back for a few days? This is the oxidation we're talking about. So, do you need it? To be completely honest, folks have been shooting slugs forever without applying lubricants and have gotten along just fine lol! If you can afford the service, then go for it!
